Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare currently has an opening for a Designated Crisis Responder in our Crisis Department. Duties will include providing crisis response services, risk assessments, safety planning and involuntary hospitalizations as required by law. Services are provided in our office and other secure locations throughout the county. 

We are a private non-profit organization located in scenic Okanogan County.  Our county offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, skiing, snowmobiling, river rafting and much more!  If you love outdoor recreation, this is the place for you!   We also have an active Performing Arts Center offering a variety of performances throughout the year, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.  Life in Okanogan County is full of adventures, festivals, rodeos and a sense of community togetherness.   

Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Science with 2 years’ experience treating mentally ill clients required, MSW preferred. For state licensing requirements, the 2 years’ experience is waived if you are currently licensed through the Washington State Department of Health as an Associate, or if you have an MSW. Valid Driver’s License required. Experience and training in crisis intervention work preferred.  Knowledge of Washington State Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) regulations preferred. 

Full Time, Part Time and Overnight On Call positions are available.
